To you from CB Ford:
"My love for art was apparent at a very early age. I love the process of problem solving that evolves within a painting. My daily inspiration comes from the interplay of light and shadows, textures, and the unique “sense of place” that I experience as a native Southerner. In the hurried pace of life, painting allows me to capture a specific moment, effect of light, or emotion on canvas. Drawing has always been a great means of expression for me, personally and artistically. The repetition of marks on canvas reflects the strong influence of drawing in my painted works. Currently, my body of work is heavily textured- a building up of paint created by layering with both brush and palette knife. I hope you enjoy experiencing my work as much as I have enjoyed creating it."
