Educational Programs

Each year, approximately 40,000 school children visit the Memphis Botanic Garden for organized programs and educational activities. This figure is 4 times the national average for public gardens. Over half of those school children come from Memphis public schools, where 87% of the students are eligible for federally-assisted school meal programs.

Caterpillar Club
A series of Mommy and Me classes for toddlers to five years old.

Spring Festival of Flowers
Bloom-themed interactive field trip for grades K-2.

Students learn all about animals & insects that lay eggs in this spring garden festival for grades K-3.
