Ikebana Class

9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Additional dates: August 19 September 2, 16 October 7, 21 November 4, 18 December 2, 16 Ikebana is a continuous and life-long practice of the fine art of Japanese flower arranging. This year we are using 4 members of Ikebana International, Memphis Bamboo Chapter #44 to teach the classes. Instructors represent 4 different schools, have taken lessons for more than 25 years, and continue to study the art themselves. Interested people should feel free to take any lesson, at any time, and begin this rewarding practice. No experience necessary. Advanced classes also available (by invitation only).
9:30 & 10:30 classes are the same, please choose one. Fee is $15 per class. Students need to provide a container and kenzan, flowers are provided. Pre-registration required by Tuesday prior; contact Patti Lechman at 512-9916.
