Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities:

Horticultural Volunteer Work
throughout our Various Gardens:

Monday through Friday
8:30-4:30 and some Saturdays

We have an amazing and hard working Horticultural Staff who are always eager for a little help and company while we work all over the Botanic Garden.  Each is in charge of specific gardens and therefore has gained valuable knowledge throughout the years.

Volunteers would contact Katie Carson in advance to set up times and dates that best suit them and then would check in at the Horticulture Building on South side of parking lot.

Children's Garden Volunteers:

Monday thru Saturday
9:00-6:00 and Sunday 11:00-6:00

There are four types of Volunteer Opportunities in the Children's Garden everyday of the week:

  • Greeters - We will have Greeters stationed at the entrance everyday to welcome the families and school groups coming in the join the fun and give them the information they will need to have the best time possible
  • Gardeners - Our Gardeners will be visiting us less frequently but will be much more hands on when it comes to the continued beautification of this new addition of ours
  • P.A.L.S. - This stands for Play And Learn Supporters. These will be helpers who can make friends and lend a hand with activities at a variety of stations throughout the garden
  • Educators - Our Educators will be assisting with a large variety of children's programming for school groups, and even preschool age, both during the week and on the weekend
